Wednesday nights at The Mahogany Room are always fun, but this Wednesday is particularly special. Zimboita bring their own brand of transcontinental Afro blues to the stage. The first set starts at 8.30pm, second at 10pm and tickets are R40 for one set, R60 for both.
Zimboita is the product of a highly successful musical collaboration between 5 professional musicians from Zimbabwe and Italy. Their music is an eclectic fusion of Afro Blues: Zimbabwean rhythms, seasoned with the finest Italian jazz and blues, along with a dash of marimba and a whole lot of energy. Cape Town is just one of their stops on their “My African Dream Tour”. Here’s where you can catch them in action… bring your friends, bring your family, come and have an experience you won’t soon forget.
