KAK. It’s always a thrill when the Creative Class gets it spectacularly wrong. This Shoe City ad ran in You Magazine to resounding dismay from its readers. What’s the logic here? You kill a cat so you buy shoes to feel better? Is it a radical critique of consumerism replacing humane values? Or, and this is more likely it, the ‘creatives’ hit the irony juice too hard and forgot that most women, who tend to buy shoes, have had a cat in their lives at some point.
