GRAF BOOK HITS DURBS

27.03.2015

Kif. Mzansi’s first extensive, hard-cover graffiti book is being launched in Durbs this Saturday, 28 March, at Open Plan Studio.

The book is the creation of Cale Waddacor and showcases the work of SA’s most influential graffiti artists, telling the vibrant tale of the graf revolution on the southern edge of Africa; – from the genesis all the way the most influential artists currently running the scene. Find out more about the book here and on www.grafittisouthafrica.com.

The book launch coincides with Tracksides: An Urban Art Event, featuring sketch battles, a customisation competition, a live graf time lapse, group exhibitions, and other cool shit that generally happens on the trackside of life! Local talents showcasing their work include Dokter Jah Irie, Shaun Oakley, Skye T Steen, Wes van Eeden and Mook Lion as well as Jozi heavyweights Taps, Myza and more.

Time SaverIt is tradition in Morocco that the saituatlons can take sometimes too much time. I save the time and say Kif-Kif. There short and effective especially for long distance calls where the granny insists on asking about the whole generations’ well being.
