As the blurb attests, the painted wood “Elvis” mask was worn by a “secret society” made up of Chewu peoples during ceremonies and rituals. KAK. There’s no proof that they ever sang Malawian versions of “Love Me Tender” or “Hound Dog” at these ceremonies.
