This year is the 40th anniversary of Queen’s extraordinary career as a band, and the surviving members Brian May, Rodger Taylor and John Deacon have celebrated by re-mastering their life’s work and adding previously unreleased content. The re-mastered studio albums, Greatest Hits and new Deep Cuts compilations, as well as plenty of other prizes will be on offer for fans dressed up as Freddie Mercury. All you need to decide is whether you are brave enough for a full body leotard, head-to-toe biker leathers or simply to stick with aviator sunglasses and of course a moustache! Theatrical, imaginative, diverse, melodic and unpredictable, Queen had a sound and a look all of their own. Re-live one of the most thrilling, glamorous and downright rock ‘n roll bands of all time!

As one of the definitive rock icons of our age, the late great Freddie Mercury’s extraordinary talents and influence are still felt in the entertainment world to this day, an unreal 20 years after his sad and untimely death. Family, friends, guests and celebrities from the world over will come together in the worldwide campaign ‘Freddie For A Day’ to raise funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, the charity established in Freddie’s name by fellow band members to fight HIV AIDS worldwide. In South Africa, all funds raised will be donated to Nkosi’s Haven.
