Parklife with Xavier Rudd07.03.2013
Xavier Rudd is rather embarrassed about the title of Worlds Sexiest Vegetarian, but hell, this surfed up acoustic folk star is as authentic as they get and he’s headlining at Parklife Music Festival – and yes, we’ve got free tickets. With three didgeridoos, a guitar on his lap, a stompbox by his bare feet, and a jumble of drums, harmonicas and bells he’s performing alongside the star studded local line up of Farryl Purkiss and Jeremy Loops among others.
So just post an example of your ethno-folky-earthy goodness on our FB, and we’ll swing you 2 pairs of tickets to Joburg on 21st March and just 1 set for Kirstenbosh on 22nd March.
The supporting line-up includes Farryl Purkiss, Jeremy Loops, Plush, Josie Field & Laurie Levine, Nibs van der Spuy; Guy Buttery, Shotgun Tori.
Tickets at webtickets :
R320, Johannesburg’s at The Marks Park Sports Club, Orange Road, music kicks off at 12pm and ends at 8pm.
R290, Cape Town at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens from 6pm onwards.
The most creative ethno-folky-earthy winners will be chosen by 12pm Monday 18th March.
