Kif article, Mr. Chapman. Live rugby intimidates the hell outta me (perhaps it’s the conditioning of many high school Saturdays bellowing against my will for a team I didn’t care about, and a game I don’t understand)… but reading your article, I’m actually encouraged to go and artfag my way around the next game…

Your writing style is perfect, particularly for this article because the whole rugger vibe is kinda foreign to us non-ballskoppers… so your words actually give a weird surreality to the event that no one else in that stadium probably appreciated.

Good stuff, dawg.

Good photo’s. Really good photo’s. Love the shot with the popcorn vendor and the chicks.
Trim the writing a bit though, mate. This was a good spill that needs some soaking. I mean sentences like: “the stadium, which opens up like a flower crawling with a thousand excited souls” – c’mon man, it’s rugby. I suggest Hemingway.
